<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article serves as a polemic commentary within the discussion on the possibility of survival in teletransportation. It examines the principle of merorganic continuity proposed by Alexey Kardash and supported by Konstantin Morozov. Several counterarguments against merorganic continuity are presented, related to (1) the principle’s insensitivity to crucial body parts, (2) the neglect of speed, and (3) the degree of bodily change. It is discussed the problematic nature of so-called ‘ordinary survival’ and hypothesis is put forward regarding the reasons for differing perspectives among researchers on survival in the context of teleportation.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Парфит</kwd><kwd>тождество личности</kwd><kwd>критерий тела</kwd><kwd>каузальность</kwd><kwd>телепортация</kwd><kwd>выживание</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Parfit</kwd><kwd>personal identity</kwd><kwd>bodily criterion</kwd><kwd>causation</kwd><kwd>teletransportation</kwd><kwd>survival</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Морозов К.
